I thought I was making a huge upgrade from a 970 4gb to a 1080 8gb and especially after spending $400 on a used card because I can’t afford the $1200+ for a newer model, and was super disappointed to see almost no noticable improvement except for maybe a small + in FPS. Even went from a 1080p monitor to a 4k.
